No Surprise Invoices and Subscription Plans

We've developed two payment plans to cater to the unique needs of our clients: The "No Surprise Invoices" plan and the "Subscription" plan. Both are designed to provide you with predictability and control over your legal budget.

No Surprise Invoices

The first model, the "No Surprise Invoices" plan, is about building a relationship of trust. Traditionally, law firms operate on an hourly rate system. We are aware that this model can often lead to unexpected invoices that exceed your initial retainer, creating tension and uncertainty.

To ensure your peace of mind, we've developed a system that avoids any unwelcome surprises. Here's how it works: At the beginning of our engagement, you provide an advance payment – other firms may refer to it as a retainer. We then meticulously monitor the fees and costs that accrue on your matter daily.

Once we've utilized 60% to 80% of your advance payment, we pause to have what we refer to as a "money conversation." This is a brief 15-minute meeting that is entirely complimentary. We provide up-to-date invoices and then talk about how we're progressing with your matter, what lies ahead, and whether we think there are sufficient funds remaining to complete the project. If not, we'll ask you to raise the advance payment back to the initial amount, keeping you in control of your legal budget at all times.

Subscription Plan

On the other hand, our "Subscription" plan offers an alternative for businesses that require ongoing legal services. This model works on a win-win principle. If you commit to a fixed monthly payment for six or more months, we offer a 10% discount on our standard rate. This plan gives us predictability for the expenses of our operations, and it provides you with cost savings and regular, focused legal support.

To manage your expectations and keep your legal goals on track, we schedule regular meetings, usually every two to four weeks, depending on your needs. During these sessions, we prioritize your legal objectives and work systematically to achieve them. To support these goals, we prepare and share status reports that you can access and update online.

Whether you choose the "No Surprise Invoices" or the "Subscription" plan, your comfort and understanding are our top priorities. The value we offer isn't just about our legal experience but also our transparent approach to costs and the personalized attention we give to your unique legal needs.
