What to Expect During Your Free Discovery Session

Our free Discovery Sessions offer a chance for business owners to discuss an assessment by our attorneys about the next step for achieving your goals. This 30-minute session will cover what moved you to seek an attorney, the goals you want to achieve, and the problems that may arise if you fail to take action. Our objective is to keep your business on track and to ensure we give you the clarity you need to fund, grow, protect, or sell your business.

We offer free Discovery Sessions on a limited basis. Due to high demand, we offer only two Discovery Sessions per day to qualified business owners who need help understanding their options for funding, growing, protecting, or selling their businesses. Unfortunately, we experience frequent no shows, so to protect our time we require a $100 deposit as a commitment for the time an attorney will spend assessing your situation before the Discovery Session. This amount will either be refunded when you attend the meeting or, if you choose, applied to additional services you may ask us to perform. If you do not show up for your appointment, then the $100 will not be refunded due to our lost opportunity to assist someone else during that time slot. Also, if we reschedule the Discovery Session because you do not provide the materials we require at least two business days before the meeting, then the $100 will not be refunded if you do not attend the meeting. Our attorneys need these materials to assess your situation during the business day before the Discovery Session.

We require all decision-makers involved in your business to be present for the Discovery Session. Their presence ensures everyone is on the same page and can participate in the discussion. It’s important to note that we do not provide any tailored legal advice or strategy during the Discovery Session. Nevertheless, all communication with the firm is strictly confidential, ensuring your privacy and security.

Should you choose to proceed with our services after your free Discovery Session, we require an advance payment to start any legal project. This fee is not a flat rate, a cap, or an estimate. Of course, if it turns out that you require less work than the advance payment would cover, the balance on your account will be refunded to you.
